During my search, I came across a website called viewsbalconybar.com, where I found a similar-looking balcony table made of steel and wood. However, the price tag of at least ₱11,800.00 seemed steep. Determined to find a more budget-friendly alternative, I decided to make my own balcony table using affordable materials.

The DIY Process of Balcony Tables

To create my balcony table, I opted for “Palochina” planks, which cost me only ₱500 for ten pieces. Additionally, I purchased metal elbows for about ₱500 and hinges for approximately ₱1000.

The width of the table was determined by the length of the “Palochina” planks, simplifying the sawing process.

To ensure durability, I used screws instead of nails and reinforced the connections with metal elbows. The final result of my DIY project was a sturdy and lightweight table, weighing around 10 to 15 lbs, that I could easily fold and store when not in use.

The Outcome and Future Possibilities

I am pleased with the outcome of my DIY balcony table, although I regret not documenting the step-by-step process. It turned out to be not only respectable but also 100% functional.
